 Caring for your customized clothes properly is ESSENTIAL for keeping them in tip-top condition, from the shape to the print, the quality is in the care.

Avoid strong detergents, play it safe with a mild soap, and  Cold Washing your clothes will thank you later!

The last thing to remember when washing your printed Tees, Polos, and Sweatshirts …despite popular belief, cold washing still effectively cleans your clothes. It’s a win-win situation, you protect your print from fading in the heat of the machine and save on the electricity bill, better for you, better for the planet.

Before going head-to-head with the big scary washing machine, make sure to turn your garments inside out. Cold washing still effectively cleans your clothes.  This is a two-second must-do trick that acts as an instant shield against the harshness of the machine and reduces chances of ink washout, fibrillation (broken print) and pilling (unwanted fuzzy balls). Keep the machine turned on a low heat for a short wash for best possible results.

Before you even get round to the actual washing remember to separate everything, your darks from your lights (to stop colors running) and, also your jeans from your tee’s (to stop any print peeling).

 

How to dry in style

The best way to dry your clothes is a good old fashioned washing line, remember those? This way you avoid unexpected shrinkage, destroying your print and an inevitable tantrum.  The heat generated from the dryer and hot water washing are the major causes of clothing shrinkage, particularly if you’re washing cotton.  If you have to use a dryer – low heat tumble dry.

 

Although it might be tempting, these printed apparel items should never be dry cleaned, the chemicals and temperature are too intense for this kind of print.  Also, take extra care when ironing, keep a low heat and avoid direct iron on print contact at all costs – failure to do so will end in a print melting meltdown – be warned.

 

Care labels are a bit of a grey area when it comes to printed apparel, some are created with the print in mind however some are actually - regarding the plain tee-polo-sweatshirt-pullover. When   plain apparel evolves to a custom print, it undergoes a massive change and you have to treat it as an entirely new garment.

 

A carrier may deem a package undeliverable for several reasons: 

 

 

- If the address is incorrect or outdated, the package will typically be returned to us by the carrier or by the unintended recipient.

- If you have put in a request for address forwarding, please note that the U.S. Postal Service only forwards first-class mail and magazines, not packages. The carrier may not deliver to your address. The U.S. Postal Service does not deliver to some addresses. All orders with “P.O. Box” in the address are automatically shipped via U.S. Mail. However, if a post office box address is provided in a format that our system does not recognize, the package may be shipped through a carrier that does not deliver to P.O. Boxes. If you have a P.O. Box, please be sure to enter your address as “P.O. Box” followed by a number. Also, if you have a private mailbox or use a local commercial mail receiving agency, please do not use “Box” for your mailbox number. Instead, use PMB or # to ensure that your address is not mistaken for a P.O. Box and that orders can be shipped to you via other carriers than U.S. Mail.

 

Most carriers make three attempts to deliver a package. Packages with a high value (over $400 of merchandise) will usually require a signature; otherwise a signature will be obtained at the driver’s discretion. If the driver feels that a signature is required and no one is available after the third delivery attempt, the package will be returned to us.

 

If you are sending a gift and the recipient refuses delivery of the package, it will be returned to us. In such cases you may want to let the recipient know that a package is on its way.

 

Pricing

   

All prices shown on the site are listed in U.S. dollars. We do not have a currency converter as part of the checkout process, although that service may be found on outside web sites. If you live outside the U.S., charges for your purchases are converted by your bank into your local currency and should appear on your credit card statement in that currency.

Colors 

We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colors of our products that appear on the web site. However, as the actual colors you see will depend on your individual computer monitor settings, we cannot guarantee that your monitor will display any specific color accurately. If you have questions regarding the specific color of an item, please contact us.

 

Shipment Methods 

 

All orders are shipped UPS Ground  or USPS unless otherwise specified.  Individuals can supply a 3rd party UPS or FedEx #.    If you require special treatment of your order, or require another shipment method, please place your order via phone or CS@GinnAdvertising.com to communicate those requirements effectively.  At this time, we are not set up for International shipping- freight would need to be quoted.

 

 

Undeliverable Packages 

 

Occasionally packages are returned to us as undeliverable. When a carrier returns an undeliverable package to us, we will attempt to contact the recipient by phone and make necessary arrangements to either re-ship the package or refund the order amount. If you suspect your order cannot be delivered as addressed and you have not received your order 6 weeks after submission, please contact us for more information on the status of your order.

 

Why is my phone number required to ship my order? 

 

Some of our shipping carriers require a phone number for all shipments for delivery purposes. Additionally, Ginn Adv may contact you by phone if there is a problem with fulfillment of your order or delivery of your merchandise. This would be the ONLY circumstance under which your phone number would be used – Ginn ADV  protects the personal information of our customers in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

You may return items purchased at our web site within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. Items should be returned in new, undamaged condition. We will also pay the shipping costs if the return is the result of our error.

 

If you have ordered an item that is the wrong size, you may return the item for a full refund or exchange within 30 days of the initial purchase provided the item is returned in new, undamaged condition. Shipping charges for the return of the item to UBC are the responsibility of the purchaser.

 

Merchandise returned after 30 days may or may not qualify for a refund or exchange. If you need to return something after 30 days of receipt, please contact us. Such returns will be handled on a case-by-case basis.
